FT6300A series single channel electronic load

The FT6300A series of electronic loads is a high-performance single-channel DC electronic load from Fisher Scientific.
FT6300A series electronic load has a variety of models, power 0~1800W, voltage 0~500V, current 0~240A.
Main applications include charger/adapter, switching power supply, LED driver, power battery, communication power supply, solar energy and its components, fuse/connector/relay/sensor, power electronic components and other products.
Applicable to the application of related product research and development, production, quality inspection, quality control and other departments, FT6300A series electronic load is specially designed for the corresponding use.

Maximum dynamic frequency 20Khz,Dynamic function

To meet the growing demand for high-speed testing, the FT6300 series of electronic loads offer high-speed, programmable dynamic testing. Dynamic test functions include continuous, flip, pulse, and slope settings. Dynamic mode is used to simulate various load mutations and abnormal conditions, using dynamic characteristics of the test power supply; power supply stability test; battery protection point and protection time; burst and load simulation of various pulses.

 

 

 

 


 

Sequence test

Load sequence function: Simulates complex changes in load based on user-edited sequence characteristics. Sequence file parameters include file number (1 to 8), test mode (CC, CV, CP, CR), number of cycles (0 to 9999, 0 means infinite loop), sequence steps (1 to 50), single step setting Value and single step time (1ms to 60000ms). The sequence file is stored in the EEPROM and can store up to 8 sequence files. Used for testing power output characteristics, power supply stability testing, and actual operating conditions simulation. The picture shows a sequence test with a step number of 5.

Measurement function and short circuit

The FT6300A series provides two operational ranges for voltage and current parameters. It uses a 16-bit high-precision A/D converter with a measurement accuracy of 0.05%+0.02% F.S. High-precision measurements are indispensable for determining the efficiency of the object to be tested and other important parameters.

The FT6300 series offers an analog short circuit function. Used to test the short-circuit protection characteristics and protection stability of the power supply/battery, as well as the short-circuit recovery characteristics.

Protective function

The FT6300 series provides all-round protection functions such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, overtemperature, and voltage inversion. The overcurrent protection and overpower protection are implemented in hardware.

 Users can set the appropriate voltage, current, and power protection thresholds.

Voltage shortage function: Used to avoid power protection action caused by instantaneous overload of output. Von, Voff function: used to achieve the load work within the specified working range.

The comprehensive protection function ensures the reliability of the product and is a reliable product for engineering test and automatic test systems.

Battery test

To facilitate battery testing, the FT6300 Series offers battery testing capabilities. Battery testing includes: battery internal resistance test and battery capacity test.

The battery capacity test is implemented in constant current CC mode. It is only necessary to set the battery protection voltage and discharge current during the test. The load will automatically record the voltage, current, time, and AH number. Below the protection voltage, the load will automatically stop testing.

OCP function and U/I curve test

 

0CP function: FT6300 series electronic load supports one button to complete the search action of overcurrent protection point and the record of overcurrent protection point.

The corresponding test process is automatically completed and the maximum current point and maximum power point during the test are recorded.

U/I curve scan: It is an upgrade function of OCP. The software will automatically scan the U/I/P relationship curve and record the corresponding test curve.

U/I curve test applied to solar photovoltaic, load capacity range and protection characteristics of LED power supply, output capability range and protection characteristics of common power supply.

 

 

 

 

SCPI and remote control

The FT6300 series supports standard SCPI commands, and all functions of the panel operation can be realized through SCPI commands. This facilitates the formation of intelligent test platforms and the secondary development of users. The FT6300 series makes it easy to remotely control electronic loads via the RS232 interface.

 

 


Communication port and monitoring software

Faith Technology is equipped with powerful PC software for the FT6300 series electronic load (FT6301A-FT6306A). The load is connected to the PC through the RS232 port. In addition to the panel operation function, the PC software can be used to complete the battery VI test function.
