Functional characteristics

CV/CC function:

As a typical constant voltage (CV) and constant current (CC) power supply, the FTP series can output stably in the full power range to meet the common needs of customers. After setting the power output range, the power supply automatically switches to CV/CC mode according to the load size, thus providing an accurate and clean voltage and current environment. In addition to basic tests, superconducting coils, voltage sensors, current sensors, fuses, connectors, etc. can be tested.

CP function:

The FTP power supply can automatically adjust the output voltage and output current according to the set output range of the power supply to achieve constant power output. The CP function helps with solar photovoltaic simulation testing, load stability testing and protection safety testing.

Voltage and current slope:

The FTP power supply allows voltage and current slopes to be set and voltage and current variable speed control to perform some of the necessary tests, including:

Voltage ramp-down test, current ramp-down test: used to test the load's stable working range, protection point test and stability test.

CC priority and CV priority test: By setting the voltage slope and current slope, it is possible to make the power supply CC priority or CV priority at the output.

Simulated impact test: Simulates the output characteristics of inductive or capacitive components by asynchronous changes in voltage and current.

 

Complex sequence function:

The sequence test function can simulate complex voltage and current waveforms, and is often used in automotive electronic test, motor running test, engine start test and other electronic device testing, stability and aging test.

The FTP series sequence file adopts the idea of programming instructions. The supported function instructions include: changing the output voltage, changing the output current, changing the voltage slope, changing the current slope, jumping, and delay. The user uses the above instructions to edit the sequence file to output complex waveforms. Sequence testing also supports the ability to loop run and link files to extend the number of file run instructions. The sequence diagram is as follows:

Analog programming

The output voltage, output current and output power of the power supply can be controlled by an external 0~5V/0~10V DC voltage signal. After the analog programming function is turned on, the relationship between the output voltage (current) and the programming signal is as shown in the figure below.

 

 

Master/slave cascading features:

Quick call:

The quick recall function reduces keystrokes and recalls saved power setup parameters by simply pressing a numeric key. The user saves the common voltage and current parameters to the corresponding position and then presses the number keys to call these parameters.

Anti-misoperation:

In the process of using the power supply, it is often necessary to limit the voltage output range or current output range to protect the device under test. FTP provides voltage range setting and current range setting to prevent user misuse. Once the operator has set a voltage range or current range, the power supply will limit the parameter settable range.

HMI:
